Crucifixia
A downloadable game
You awaken at the bottom of a sewerage pit in a medieval monastery, having miraculously survived being thrown down there by evil rapist monks in the 13th century. But you aren't the only thing the church threw down there and forgot about! You find two ancient arcane weapons - the Crucifixia - one is a flame-throwing crucifix that has a hidden crossbow and the other is a morphing stone hammer that elongates into a primitive club.
If you hold trigger on the hammer and touch it to the cruci-bow's flame you can fire stakes into the walls, allowing you to climb up out of the pit and wreak revenge upon the priests who threw you down there...
Explore the dank, dark recesses and beware of the priests lurking in the vault above you once you manage to climb your way out!
This game mixes melee with shooter, dungeon crawler with dungeon climber and has unique mechanics as well as frightening enemies.

I'm stuck at the back of the pipe. There is a metal fence that I can climb up or along the wall but not up to the roof where there is a hole. Am I going the right way?
There is no bow on the crucifix? pressing the action button makes the flame larger in my version.
Where has the download button for the game gone?
Hi Dobsy try squeezing out through a corner where the grate in the ceiling above the sewerage pit is.
You need to find the enchanted arrow/bolt before you can use the crossbow (its somewhere at the bottom of the pit - use trigger to grab it once you've found it. Then hold trigger on the hand holding the crucifix to open up the crossbow. You have unlimited arrows just use trigger in the hand NOT holding the crucifix and one will spawn in that hand)

Hi, I'm still trying to find a way out.
In the meantime. I found the enchanted arrow (initially it was hard to find then once you do find it, you can't miss it). I was firing a lot of arrows quickly into the ceiling from the first sewage pipe and suddenly the arrow got stuck in the cross. It pointing down and to the right. It would not fire and I could not let go of the cross either. When it respawned, it was in the same state. I could still move around.
Also, if you go to into the water on the right side of the 'stepping stones' (that lead to where you can climb up) then I got stuck with no way to get out. I tried a few times with the same result.
OK I'll have a look for that spot near the stepping stones you got stuck in. When you say climb up are you using the pillar in the wall or are you firing stakes and climbing up that way? The pillar isnt supposed to be climbable... i made it that way to make playtesting easier. If you haven't figured out how to fire stakes hold trigger while holding the hammer then touch the hammerhead to the top of the crucifix where the flame is and point the pointy end of the crucifix where you want the stakes fired. Then climb up the stakes... but you gotta climb quick it's meant to be a little bit challenging climbing up fast enough before the stakes disappear.
I've had the arrow get stuck before a couple times too but I'm not sure what is causing it ill have a look at the code. Possibly because both crossbow and arrow use trigger the arrow gets called by the hand holding crossbow. So sorry for the bugs there's always a few sneaky ones. Thanks for pointing them out!!
With the getting stuck near the stepping stones problem some objects are climbable so try grabbing one of the stepping stones and dragging yourself up. That should fix the issue.
Hi, yes you can grab a rock and get out where I was previously stuck in the water.
Do you have a discord? I can ask more questions there. I can't figure out how to climb using the arrows. If you grab one then it comes out of the wall and into your hand.

You cant climb using arrows you climb using stakes - I've posted a video on how to shoot stakes out of the crucifix on the discord but basically grab the hammer, hold down trigger and the hammerhead will rock back and forth a bit like a jackhammer... then while its doing that hold the hammerhead up to the metal part on the top of the crucifix near the flame and point the sharpened end of the crucifix where you want the stakes to go.
